FlipFlop is 6 themes in one. Using the theme’s colour changer, you can switch between orange. blue, red, green, grey or gold colour schemes in two clicks of your mouse. Add in the 6 headers that are shipped with the theme and that’s at least 36 theme permutations!

If you are not using a custom menu in the Lower menu location, the title of any Post marked as ‘sticky’ will automatically be displayed in the lower horizontal menu — maximising the visibility of all of your important Posts across your site.

Great for posting updates, alerts etc without worrying about which page your visitors will land on.

The theme also boasts no less than 6 header images — with on-hover changes — so that you further customise your site. Or use the “Random” option to show a different header image on every page.

ZenLite Vertical was created as a proof of concept to demonstrate what can be achieved in a child theme with the minimum of extra PHP coding. Namely, to take a single column theme with a horizontal menu and turn it into a 2-column theme with a left accordion (folding) menu.

ZV contains its own header, footer, front page and sidebar templates but these are mainly trimmed-down variants of the original theme. Most of the heavy customisation work is pure CSS. The end result is a very minimalistic look with a de-cluttered display that makes good use of the Open Sans Google font.

All of the same functionality as its parent theme but with a blue skin. Hopefully, this is the first of a a range of child themes for ZenLite to be released over the next few weeks. The focus will be a range of different colours rather than any additional functionality as the theme appears to fulfil a particular need amongst users as a simple, single column, design.

The new version includes a couple of bug fixes plus post format support.

Post Formats is a theme feature introduced with WordPress 3.1 that allows you to change how each post looks by choosing a Post Format from a radio-button list on the Add New Post (or Edit Post) administration pages. Emporium supports the aside, gallery, image, quote and status post formats. The theme’s post format documentation also includes some examples of how you might use some of these formats within your online shop.

Comments, feedback and bug reports are welcome on the Theme support forum.
