Setting Up A Static WordPress Home Page

Not everyone want a list of posts as their WordPress home page…

Login to the Administration area and use Page/Add New to create and publish a new Home page for the front of your blog.
If you want to have a page for your Blog posts, create & publish a Blog page too.
Now navigate to Settings/Reading
Under “Front page displays“, check “static page“
Choose your new Home page from the Front page dropdown
Choose your Blog page from the Posts page dropdown
Save your changes.

Now go and admire your nice new Home page!
